Club Activities Upcoming Programs Annual Report Club Profile

Rotary Club of Pokhara Midtown is the second Rotary club established in Pokhara, operating under District 3292. It was chartered on December 18, 2002, under District 3290, by GSR Rtn. Vinod Chandra Baral, with Dr. B.R. Joshi serving as the Charter President and Rtn. Keshab Pd. Acharya as the Charter Secretary. The club started with 29 members and has grown to 46 members. Currently, Rtn. Surya Narayan Baral is leading the club as President for the Rotary year 2024-25, along with 19 board members, including President Elect Upendra Poudel and Immediate Past President Sony Dewaju.

Renowned for being one of the most active and pioneering clubs in the district, RC Pokhara Midtown boasts the highest number of female members. The club has a strong history of community service, consistently demonstrating leadership through its various projects. It has chartered three other Rotary clubs: RC Baglung on October 11, 2006, RC Parbat on May 14, 2010, and RC Pokhara Fishtail (jointly with RC Pokhara) on October 22, 2003.

In addition, the club has expanded its family by establishing the Rotaract Club of Pokhara Midtown on February 6, 2004, the Interact Club of Paramount Midtown in 2014, the Interact Club of Jyotikunj Midtown in 2014, and the Interact Club of Sagarmath Midtown in 2022.
